'Sunset Desert' - Original abstract painting on canvas.
When I started this painting, images sprung into my mind of the Australian desert. As though seeing the red desert land from a bird’s eye view under the setting sun, I could see in my mind's eye, the hot colours of desert wildflowers with bursts of vibrant pinks, oranges, white, over the arid red desert sands under the sunset. I could almost touch the wildflowers and feel the heat coming off the hot dry sandy dirt. How beautiful is this.
The painting was hand painted during the pandemic, 2021 and released in 2023. Sunset Desert received an International juried art award ' during 2021.Â
The painting has been created with impasto technique, layers of paint giving it texture to visually highlight the the patches of wildflowers and the undulating land.Â
This is a rare find original painting that cannot be reproduced. Only 1 Available.

The float frame is 10mm wide on the face and 55mm deep, fitted with a 5mm space between the canvas and the frame.

Caring for Your Original Art
After you receive your painting, take care to protect it from bright sunlight. If you are framing your art with your own framer, ideally, choose a fine art framing service. To enhance the artwork I suggest an archival mat, a sun-protective, anti-reflective glass and the frame of your choice.
