Shipping policy
Bridget Bradley Art Shipping Policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the English language, regardless of any translations made for any purpose whatsoever.
NOTE: For all orders during peak seasons, holiday times and large sale events such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday there may be order processing, shipping and delivery delays.
Operating Hours & Business Days
As a small, one-person independent art studio, we operate Monday to Friday (Australian Eastern Time). We do not process orders, coordinate shipping, or dispatch on weekends (Saturday/Sunday) or Public Holidays (in Australia or your destination country).
All processing and delivery times listed below are in Business Days only.
Original Art – Shipping by Type, Size & Destination
Our original artworks are categorized by type (Canvas vs. Paper), size, and destination to ensure the correct packaging and handling method is used.
A. Domestic Shipping (Australia Only)
Applies to all Original Art orders shipped within Australia.
- Shipping Cost: FREE Standard Shipping on all original art orders.
- Handling & Preparing: 3–5 Business Days (Custom-made order preparation).

- Metro Areas: 5–10 Business Days from time of dispatch.
- Regional & Rural Areas: 7–30 Business Days from time of dispatch.
B. International Shipping – Small Canvas Paintings (< 30cm)
Includes: Small stretched canvas paintings (Framed & Unframed) up to 30cm.
Packaging: Packed in high-strength, double-walled reinforced boxes supplied by our partner.
Shipping Cost: Calculated at checkout based on destination. (Current rates are displayed in your cart before payment).

D. International Shipping – Paper Works & Flat Packs (Small & Medium)
Includes: Original works on paper, prints, and flat-packed canvases (Unframed).
Packaging:
- Small (< 30cm): Packed flat in a rigid, protective mailer or flat box to prevent bending.
- Medium (31cm – 60cm): Rolled in acid-free tissue and placed in a heavy-duty, archival-quality tube.
Shipping Cost: Calculated at checkout based on destination. (Current rates are displayed in your cart before payment).
- Small (< 30cm): Calculated at Checkout (Flat packing, insurance, express air freight)
- Medium (31cm – 60cm): Calculated at Checkout (Tube packing, insurance, express air freight)
Processing & Delivery:

E. International Shipping – Large Originals (61cm / 24"+ and Larger)
Includes: Large stretched canvas paintings (61cm+) requiring custom wooden crates.
Shipping Cost:
Due to the variable cost of custom wooden crating and variable specific dimensions, and weights of large paintings, we offer an average fixed rate. This rate may be changed in response to shipping logistics costs.
How It Works:
- Place Order: At checkout, select "International Large Original Fine Art

Crate Construction: Once paid, we coordinate with our Fine Art Freight Specialist partner to build your custom wooden crate.
- Build Time: 2–4 Business Days (handled by our partner).
- Shipping: The artwork is collected by our partner and shipped immediately after the crate is built and inspected.
Total Estimated Delivery: 3 to 4 weeks from the date of order (includes order processing time, crate build, and transit).

Fine Art Prints – Shipping & Handling
The following shipping terms for Fine Art Prints remain unchanged.
Custom-Made Fine Art Prints & Frames
Our Certified Fine Art printing partners are committed to printing high-quality archival prints. All fine art prints are sold on a made-to-order basis.
Australia – Unframed & Framed Prints
- All print orders within Australia are shipped free of charge.
- Please allow around 2–3 weeks for printing, packaging, and delivery.
- Shipping Time: 5–10 Business Days from time of dispatch.
New Zealand & USA – Unframed Prints
- We offer free shipping on all print orders to New Zealand and the United States.
- Orders are fulfilled locally, and delivery usually takes around 2–3 weeks from the order date.
- Standard Shipping Time: 5–10 Business Days from time of dispatch.
International (Outside Australia, NZ & USA) – Unframed Prints
- All international orders are shipped unframed and rolled in secure tubes.
- Shipping Fee: Free worldwide for unframed prints.
- Production Time: Please allow 1–2 weeks for your print to be custom-made.
- Shipping Time: 8–15 Business Days for delivery from the time of dispatch depending on your location.
- Customs & Duties: Buyers are responsible for any import taxes or customs fees.
- Delivery Delays: Times may vary depending on customs or courier handling.

Signature upon receipt of order is required for all prints.
International
- Production Time: 2–7 Business Days to handle and produce your custom-made order.
- Shipping Transit Time (USA & NZ): 7–15 Business Days from time of dispatch depending on your location.
- Shipping Transit Time (All Other Countries): Estimated 10–30 Business Days.
Packaging Standards
We utilize a specialized logistics partner to ensure the highest safety standards for your artwork during international transit:
- Small Canvas (< 30cm): Packed in high-strength, double-walled reinforced boxes supplied by our partner.
- Medium Canvas (31cm – 60cm): Packed in high-strength, double-walled reinforced boxes supplied by our partner.
- Small Paper Works (< 30cm): Packed flat in a rigid, protective mailer or flat box to prevent bending.
- Medium Paper Works (31cm – 60cm): Rolled in acid-free tissue and placed in heavy-duty, archival-quality tubes.
- Large Originals (61cm+): Packed in custom-built, fumigated wooden crates (ISPM 15 compliant) constructed by our Fine Art Freight Specialist partner, featuring internal suspension to prevent movement.
- Fine Art Prints: Meticulously packed, checked, and photographed prior to shipping.
All items are packed and shipped via tracked freight using our partner Fine Art Freight Specialist.
Custom Streetwear & Accessories
The following shipping terms for Custom Streetwear remain unchanged.
Domestic – Australia-wide
- Production Time: 2–5 Business Days to handle and produce your custom-made order.
- Standard Shipping Transit Time (Metro Area): 4–8 Business Days from time of dispatch.
- Express Shipping Transit Time (Metro Area): 1–4 Business Days from time of dispatch.
- Standard Shipping Transit Time (Regional & Rural Area): 5–15 Business Days from time of dispatch.
- Shipping Australia-wide with Australia Post and Couriers, tracking included on all parcels.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
- Responsibility: Any import duties, VAT, GST, or customs taxes charged by your local government are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
- Prediction: We cannot predict these fees as they vary by country and change frequently.
- Process: Your package may be held by customs until these fees are paid directly to the local carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.
Shipping Insurance
- Coverage: All shipments include full transit insurance covering the artwork's value against loss or damage during transit.

Claims: Please inspect your package immediately upon delivery.
- If there is visible damage to the box or crate, please note it on the delivery receipt and take photos.
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos and the delivery note to initiate a claim.
Delivery Requirements
- Items are not delivered to Post Office Boxes.
- Please ensure your delivery address details are accurate when placing your order.
- If the delivery address is a business address, please include the name of the business.
- A phone number must be included for couriers in case of any issue with delivery. Should a phone number not be supplied, the customer will be responsible for undeliverable items and all redelivery charges.
- We will not be held responsible for undeliverable items or inaccurate addresses.
Wrong Address – All Orders
If you provide an address that is considered insufficient for the courier, the shipment will be returned to the facility of origin. You will be liable for the reshipment costs, including any insurance, once confirmation of an updated address has been made by you if applicable.
Lost Orders/Packages – All Orders
For parcels lost in transit, please get in touch using the Contact page form or by email within 7 days after the expected estimated date of arrival. Should this be due to an error on the partner provider or carrier/s part, expenses will be covered by the partner or Bridget Bradley Art.
Refusal of or Unclaimed Shipments – All Orders
Shipments that go unclaimed, are not accepted or are refused on arrival for any reason, are returned to our partner facility and you will be liable for the cost/s of a reshipment including insurance and any tax or duties.
Cancelling an Order – Fine Art Prints
In addition, please note, if you wish to cancel your custom fine art print order, orders must be cancelled before the order processing has been completed.
Order processing for fine art prints is generally within 24 hours, that is, 1 Business Day. After an order has been fulfilled, that is with the shipping logistics provider, it cannot be cancelled.
Returns & Refunds
- Large Originals (Quote Required): If you choose not to proceed with the shipping quote after receiving it, your order for the artwork will be cancelled and a full refund issued (minus any non-refundable transaction fees). The artwork will not be shipped until the shipping invoice is paid.
- Damaged Items: If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to resolve the issue via our insurance provider.
- Change of Mind: Please refer to our Refunds Returns & Exchanges Policy page for details on returns due to change of mind.
- Please also read our Returns Policy for original and art prints and choose very carefully before placing your order.
Authority to Leave
All parcels require a signature on delivery. However, if you request authority to leave then Bridget Bradley is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of your parcel.
