Beehive - Original abstract painting on canvas that captures the essence of a beehive with its textural effect, movement and vibrant colour palette of yellows, neon yellow, black and white.
The strong contrast between the colours creates a dynamic visual impact for the viewer while the intricate textures created with action painting, gestures and dripping, evoke the industrious energy of the hive.
I love nature and bees and their importance to the ecosystem, so it's not surprising that Beehive came from my inner world onto the canvas. The bright yellows speak to the life of the bees while the blacks and whites are maybe symbolic of the challenges they face.

The float frame is 10mm wide on the face and 55mm deep, fitted with a 5mm space between the canvas and the frame.

Caring for Your Original Art
After you receive your painting, take care to protect it from bright sunlight. If you are framing your art with your own framer, ideally, choose a fine art framing service. To enhance the artwork I suggest an archival mat, a sun-protective, anti-reflective glass and the frame of your choice.
