The painting, Something Blue refers to the popular traditional saying for brides on their wedding day:

something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and sixpence in her shoe.

"As an artist, I have a deep affinity for working with blue and for this project, I let my instincts guide me. Blue emerged as a natural response. The colours seemed to flow from one another organically, creating a sense of spontaneity and freedom in this large abstraction. The meaning behind blue, is close to my heart, that of loyalty going hand in hand with resolute commitment and faithfulness in relationships."

The meaning behind there colour blue, is close to my heart. It represents loyalty, commitment and faithfulness in relationships. Blue is also calming and resonates with stability in long-lasting relationships. Silver leaf love hearts represent purity, gentleness and endurance, all qualities to be found in loving relationships.

This is a one of a kind, original painting.
