Silver Rain II - Contemporary abstract expressionism painting inspired by rainy weather; the second of two artworks.
As I gazed out the window on a stormy day, the rain striking the window pane, I noticed that as the sun tried to shine, silvery blue lines and splashes appeared.
The artwork is a heavily, multi-layered painting has varying types of texture and vibrant blues, silver, white and black marks made with action painting, resulted in loads of texture and movement.
The colours are dynamic as they change under different lighting conditions creating a soft yet contrasting vibrance and energy in the room. The blues offers a sense of calm in the storm.
A modern abstract painting has silver metallic painted edges makes an ideal statement piece for any wall.

The float frame is 10mm wide on the face and 55mm deep, fitted with a 5mm space between the canvas and the frame.

Why does it take this long? Unlike standard items, your large original painting requires:
- Custom Crating: We build a custom reinfocred box or protective wooden crate specifically for your artwork (2–4 days).
- Packing fine art at larger scales takes considerable time.
- Secure Transit: We use specialized "Fine Art" air freight to ensure safe delivery.

Caring for Your Original Art
After you receive your painting, take care to protect it from bright sunlight. If you are framing your art with your own framer, ideally, choose a fine art framing service. To enhance the artwork I suggest an archival mat, a sun-protective, anti-reflective glass and the frame of your choice.
