'Silver Rain I' - First of two contemporary abstract expressionism paintings inspired by rainy weather.
As I gazed out the window on a stormy day, the rain striking the window pane, I noticed that as the sun tried to shine, silvery blue lines and splashes appeared.
This is a heavily layered painting with varying types of texture and vibrant blues, silver, white and black marks resulting in loads of texture and movement.
The colours are dynamic as they change under different lighting conditions creating a soft yet contrasting vibrance and energy in the room. The blues offer a sense of calm in the storm.
This modern abstract painting is offered unframed with edges painted in silver metallic, allow the painting to be fully and freely expressed.

The float frame is 10mm wide on the face and 55mm deep, fitted with a 5mm space between the canvas and the frame.

Caring for Your Original Art
After you receive your painting, take care to protect it from bright sunlight. If you are framing your art with your own framer, ideally, choose a fine art framing service. To enhance the artwork I suggest an archival mat, a sun-protective, anti-reflective glass and the frame of your choice.
