Deep Blue I
Original, contemporary abstract expressionism painting on canvas, my first of two paintings created after an amazing road trip from Melbourne along the beautiful coastline of the Great Ocean Road of Victoria, Australia.
Intuitively inspired and expressed from memories while I was daydreaming of being immersed in the tranquil depths of blue as if sinking into an ocean of consciousness.
The artwork aims to entice viewers into a unique visual experience of the depths and layers of such an experience, a sense calm and expansiveness.
I've used rich shades of cerulean and midnight that blend over the canvas, which draws viewers into a profound space where the vastness of the ocean mirrors the expanses of the cosmos.
Layers of translucent blues create an atmosphere that seems to shape shift, drawing the viewer into the deep. Delicate veils of blue colour suggest movement and rhythm as the intricate patterns and textures evoke a sense of infinitely enigmatic depth.
This beautiful original artwork was exhibited at Art Lovers Australia Melbourne art gallery and was sold on opening night.

Caring for Your Original Art
After you receive your painting, take care to protect it from bright sunlight. If you are framing your art with your own framer, ideally, choose a fine art framing service. To enhance the artwork I suggest an archival mat, a sun-protective, anti-reflective glass and the frame of your choice.
