City Days and City Nights
City Days and City Nights - These two original, abstract expressionism paintings were painted during the pandemic while I was stuck in Hong Kong. Both paintings reflect my love and experience of Hong Kong.
City Days is an expression of the energetic and colourful city life during the day. City Nights, painted after City Days, was an expression of the vibrant nightlife and neon lights. I have painted the artworks around the edges using the full canvas. Therefore they do not require external framing.
If you love these original paintings, invest in them as a bundle and display on your wall space as a pair. Only 1 set currently available. Alternatively, they are available as separate original abstracts.

Colours of original paintings when viewed online/website may vary depending on your monitor's display. Paintings photographed in natural light may show slight variations of colour depending on light. My paintings are vibrant in natural light and any neon colours may glow under blue light at night.

Archival Quality
My original art is painted with professional acrylics and other mediums onto high-quality archival papers or premium canvas. Where possible materials are sustainably sourced. All artwork is sealed with UV Light Protector.

Where possible all wooden frames are sourced sustainably within Australia.
Custom-made float frames for canvas paintings:
The float frame is 10mm wide on the face and 55mm deep, fitted with a 5mm space between the canvas and the frame.

Why does it take this long? Unlike standard items, your large original painting requires:
- Custom Crating: We build a custom reinfocred box or protective wooden crate specifically for your artwork (2–4 days).
- Packing fine art at larger scales takes considerable time.
- Secure Transit: We use specialized "Fine Art" air freight to ensure safe delivery.
The 3–5 week estimate includes all these steps outlined above.

Care Instructions
Caring for Your Original Art
After you receive your painting, take care to protect it from bright sunlight. If you are framing your art with your own framer, ideally, choose a fine art framing service. To enhance the artwork I suggest an archival mat, a sun-protective, anti-reflective glass and the frame of your choice.
