About the Art Exhibition
The show brings together a dynamic range of Australian contemporary artists—from lyrical gestural painting to precise geometric work, while featuring four of my own abstract expressionism paintings.

Painted intuitively. Inspired from the my inner perceptions and imagination as if viewing space from a Satellite as it journeys across the cosmos.

An intuitive expression from childhood memories accompanying my Dad to the Observatory, to look toward a new Comet that he had confirmed.
Central to the composition, is the comet tail, which streaks across the canvas like an icy, luminous body moving at lightening speed through the universe. The comet tail is worked in neon yellow, clear blue and radiant white. Multiple layers were applied to give a textural effect.
